My new invention wraps advertising displays, coupons, and promotions on these tubes, thereby transforming them into a useful article and a powerful money maker. Each year billions of these paper tubes pass through houses, workplaces, and public places, coming into contact with users before being discarded.
These tubes, called Ad Tubes, have the potential to be a larger advertising medium than any other in existence. The installation of bathroom ads in semi-public restrooms across the country is growing at the rate of 20 percent and generating millions of dollars of revenue annually, according to Claude Breault, communications director at Zoom Media, the Montreal-based company that in 1989 came up with the idea of restroom ads.
